Silver Bells

A recent Outlawz CAS challenge was inspired by the song "Silver Bells". You needed to include Silver or bells or both on  your card. I found this perfect bell fabric to use on my card. I layered it onto a metallic red background.

Just a Note

I haven't been here in a long while. Life has just been crazy. So, hopefully, I can make regular appearances again. The Outlawz CAS challenge this week was inspired by the celebration of National Violin Day. The cards needed to include music or a musical instrument. This was my card.

Fall colors

The Monday greeting challenge at The Outlawz this week was to use fall colors. The image and words are from Unity Stamp Company. I am not good at using sequins, but I think these came out OK.

Crazy Bird

The CAS challenge at The Outlawz was inspired by the song words: The birds and the bees and the flowers and the trees. You needed to incorporate at least on of those items into your card. I used an embossing folder for my tree and colored it with distress ink. The crazy bird was colored with zig real color brushes.

Harvest

The challenge at Addicted to CAS this week was "Harvest". I used a die from Taylored Expressions to cut the background. The boy is from LaLa Land stamps.

I scream, you scream......

This week's CAS challenge at The Outlawz was to make a card with a frozen treat on it. I used a die from Elizabeth Craft to make my ice cream cone. It looks like it wants to be eaten.

Congratulations

I made this card for a friend who recently became a US citizen. I have to keep playing these Gina Marie dies.

Black and White

A Facebook group I belong to recently had a black and white challenge. I used a Gina Marie die to make my card. I think I might be addicted to these dies.

Thinking of You

The CAS challenge at The Outlawz this week was do include embossing on your card. I embossed the image and then added color using Tim Holtz Distress Inks. The sentiment is a sticker.

Black Cat Day

The Festive Friday challenge last week that I chose to do was "Black Cat Day". I used washi tape to make my background. Very time consuming, but a cool effect.

Sketch Saturday #424

This is the card I did for the current Sketch Saturday challenge. This little cat reminds me of my cats, they have to lay in the laundry basket. Mine usually are in it when it is waiting to go into the washing machine.

CASology - Watercolors

The current challenge at CASology is "Watercolors". I watered colored my bird using my zig clean color real brush.  I used the Sketch Saturday template to design my card.

Christmas Skates

The Monday Greeting challenge at The Outlawz this week was a Tic-Tac-Toe board. The direction I chose to go included an image, Washi Tape, and Torn paper. The image is from Unity Stamp Company. I used Sparkle-n-Fluff from Sparkle-n-Sprinkle for the pom-poms and fur on the skates.

Florals

The Wednesday challenge at Simon Says Stamp was "Fabulous Florals". I used this image from Unity Stamp Company. It was colored with copics and tickles were used in the center of the flowers. I used Kaiserkraft metallic gel pens to outline the flowers and leaves.

Monochromatic challenge

The CAS challenge this week at The Outlawz was to create a monochromatic card. I chose to use pinks. The image I used is from Unity Stamp Company.

Ladybugs

The challenge for Twisted Thursdays at The Outlawz this week is to use ladybugs on your card. This image I used is from Magenta. I love the ladybug flowers. I colored the image with Zig clean color real brushes.

Rain Day

The holiday I chose to do this week for Festive Fridays at The Outlawz was "Rain Day. All the elements on this card are fabric.

Winter Mittens

Welcome

The current challenge at Addicted to CAS was "Welcome". I chose to make a congratulations card for a new baby for this challenge. The elephant and butterfly are fussy cut from fabric.

Mutt Day

Sunday was "Mutt's Day". So, the CAS challenge at The Outlawz was to make a card with a dog on it. I used an embossing folder for the background and then applied Nuvo Embellishments Mousse on it. This was a new product for me, so I needed to try it out. I used Nuvo crystal drops in the upper corner. The dog is a decoupage piece.

Reach for the Sky

Sunday was Amelia Earhart Day. In honor of that, the CAS challenge at The Outlawz was to make a card with wings on it. This digital image is from Craftin Desert Divas.

Sit by the Sea

This my favorite of all my beach penguins from Art Impressions. This card was made for the challenge at Dies R Us. The theme of this challenge was beach and/or water.

Christmas Blessings

The CAS challenge at The Outlawz this week was to use blue and brown as predominant colors on your card.  I was at Stamp Camp for the past week and this is a card that I made there.

Christmas in July

The CAS challenge at The Outlawz this week was "Christmas in July". Such an appropriate challenge, since this week is Stamp Camp for me and the focus is Christmas. I found this fabric at Farmhouse Memories, a LSS.

Teabag Folding

Made this card using teabag folding for a swap that I was involved ing. I need to do more of these.

Cute Cat

The CAS challenge this week at The Outlawz was to use a cat on your card. The fluffies cats from Stampedous are so cute. I used a Dylusions stencil for the border.

Diamonds and Pearls

The CAS challenge at The Outlawz this week was "Diamonds and Pearls." I used an embossing folder and added the diamonds on the butterflies and the pearls as embellishments.

Surf's Up!

The Sunday CAS challenge at The Outlawz this week was to make a summer card. I used washi tape to make the border around the surfer penguin. The penguin is from Art Impressions.

Coffee please

The Saturday Paper Ala Mode challenge at The Outlawz was to make an ATC. I just finished making Coffee ATCs for a swap in another group. The stamps are all from Stampendous. I embossed the coffee beans onto paper and then applied gelatos and wiped them with a baby wipe. The lace acts as a table to ground my cup.

Stenciled Flower

Last month at stamp club we were using a mixed media paste along with gelatos. We were then applying them with a stencil.

The Saturday Paper Ala Mode Challenge at The Outlawz this past week was "Anything Goes." This is a canvas using a Julie Nutting Paper doll. I did her skirt with rows of lace trim.

Steampunk Canvas

I recently took a class at Pages in Time. This canvas is Finnabair (Prima) inspired. We did stencils with texture paste and then added a lot of metal, flowers, and buttons. We then painted everything black and sprayed with Prima Color Blooms.

Card Concept 427

The current challenge at Card Concept involved a photo inspiration. The inspiration was a cup of tea. I decided to use that as my inspiration for my card.
