Chocolate Cake Appreciation Day

January 27 was Chocolate Cake Appreciation Day. In honor of that it was one of the choices for Festive Fridays at The Outlawz. The cake is an old hero arts stamp. The DP is from Prima.

CASology: Adore

The current CASology Cue is Adore. I used this cute image from My Favorite Things. He is colored with copics and adhered to the heart doily.

Pocket Card

I recently did a pocket card swap in a group I belong to. The inside of the card had two pockets, in which I placed a tag in each of them. The card was made by using an 8.5 by 11 inch piece of DP.

February Cupcake

The Twisted Thursday challenge this week at The Outlawz is "Anything Goes". This is my cupcake card for the month of February? What is a cupcake day? It is your half birthday.

Pansies

The color challenge at The Outlawz this week was to use Royal Purple, Green Leaves, and Palest Lilac on your card. The twist was to add stripes. I used an image from Unity Stamp Company and my stripes were done with a Sizzix embossing folder.

Addicted To CAS

The current Addicted to CAS challenge is "Red". I used an image from Unity Stamp Company and tissue tape from Tim Holtz for my design.

CAS on Sunday

The current CAS on Sunday challenge was to include paper piecing on your card. I used an image from My Favorite Things for my card. My DP is from Prima.

Flying Birthday wishes

The Monday Greeting challenge at The Outlawz this week was "Anything Goes". I had recently found this stamp set from Art Impressions and thought it was a lot of fun. The clouds and the banner are popped up. There is glitter on the clouds.

Happy Birthday

The CAS challenge at The Outlawz this week was to make a birthday card with red on it. I used an embossing folder to create my image and then added glittery red dots in the center of all the flowers. I made a triple bow for the base of the cake stand.

SSS Wednesday Challenge

The Wednesday Challenge at Simon Says Stamp this past week was to create with a critter. I used a Penny Black hedgehog. Love these hedgehogs.

Penguin Awareness Day

The Festive Friday challenge that I chose this week was Penguin Awareness Day. In light of the Blizzard of 2016, I decided that my penguins should  be skiing.

Cute Card Thursday #409

The theme at Cute Card Thursday this week was "Just Boys". I used an image from Lily of the Valley and fussy cut it and then popped it up.

The Monday Greeting challenge at The Outlawz this week was to use either wet or dry embossing on your card. I chose to just emboss the strip going down the left side of the card.

Pretty Butterfly

The Sunday CAS challenge at The Outlawz this week was to add sparkle. I used a holographic outlines sticker, which had the sparkle in it. I then colored it with copics. There is also some shimmer in my frame.

Bluebird of Happiness

The Saturday Paper Ala Mode challenge at The Outlawz this past week was to make a birthday card. This vulture is from Art Impressions. I thought the words that came with it were great!

Feast of Fabulous Wild Men

The Festive Fridays challenge at The Outlawz this week again had 4 options. I went with the Feast of the Fabulous Wild Men. This grill master is a piece of fabric that I had bought to make some masculine cards.

Happy Valentine's Day

The Monday Greetings challenge this week was to use two or more inchies on your card. I had these little glitter hearts that fit perfectly on an inchie. I used the sketch from Sketch Saturday.

It's Cold Outside

This is my most recent mixed media kit from Pages in Time. The theme was "It's Cold Outside". I had bought the Dyan Reavely stamps the day I picked up the kit. My friend who does these kits with me challenged me to use what I had purchased that day to make my canvas.

Addicted to CAS - Cake

The Code Word at Addicted to CAS this week was "Cake". I used a peel off sticker for my cake and colored it with copics. I did a simple frame using the cuttlebug happy birthday folder.

CASology : Simple

The Cue Card at CASology this week was "Simple". I love my collection of outdoor chairs from Lockhart Stamps. I colored it with copics and "shaded" the sky with a blue and blue green copic.

Puddles

The CAS challenge at The Outlawz this week was "jump in a puddle". You just needed something about puddles on your card. I had this awesome quote from Sparkle-n-Sprinkle. The boots are also from them. I used my cloud template for the background.

Happy Valentine's Day

The Saturday Paper A La Mode challenge at The Outlawz this week was to make a Valentine's card. I had this vintage valentine fabric that I am planning on making valentines from. No better time to start than with a challenge! I used peel off stickers to frame the focal point. My card design is a easel card.

Up in the Air

I made this ATC for a swap for a card making group I belong to. The theme was "The Sky's the Limit". The stamp I used is from Northwoods. I colored with Tombow markers and added a lot of glitter to the balloons and clouds.

The Twisted Thursday challenge at The Outlawz was to include pets on your card. I have two beautiful cats who definitely exhibit Catitude! The image is from Sparkle-n-Sprinkle.

Singing Bird

I am still playing with my cereal boxes and acrylic paints. I was working on this card for a swap, but the colors worked with the Color Challenge at The Outlawz this week. So, here it is for the challenge and yes, it will still be my swap card. The bird and sentiment are from Dina Wakely. The color prompt was the colors of the flag of St Pierre and Miquelon. I used four of the five colors.

The challenge this week at Cute Card Thursday was "Anything Goes". I have been having a lot of fun playing with the Crazy Birds and Mixed Media.

Red Bird

This was my week to post the CAS challenge at The Outlawz. Tuesday is National Bird Day, so my challenge was to use a bird on your card. I used a peel off sticker, placed it on white paper and colored it with copics. I framed it with a glittery white paper.
