I wet my plants
The current Twisted Thursday challenge at The Outlawz is "anything goes". I used a new to me Art Impresions set. The background is done with colorburst. The stones are done with Viva silver croco (crackling color).

Happy 60th birthday!
The final coloring challenge at The Outlawz was this past week. I have been having a great time making these cards with the crazy birds. My hairdresser will be turning 60 in February, so I had to make him a great card!

Crazy Bird Birthday
The Paper Ala Mode challenge at The Outlawz this past week was "Anything Goes". I decided to play with a technique that a friend had shared. The background is made on a cereal box in which paint was lightly applied with your fingers. You then stamped onto the first layer. Finally, paper from sewing patterns and music were added. I went one step further and stenciled the alphabet on using texture paste. The birds, of course, are from Tim Holtz. I love these crazy birds!

Snow
The challenge at Mixed Media Mojo this month was "Sentiment". My sentiment is snow which I did with glass bead glitter from Faber-Castell. I used gelatos and Viva Inca Gold on the background. There are embossed snowflakes and acrylic paint that was added with my splatter brush. The small snowflakes were done with texture paste.

Fat Snowman
I needed to do a swap card for a group I belong to. The theme was Winter Wonderland. I used gelatos for the background and then used Viva Inca Gold for the circles. I stamped snowflakes with white pigment powder and embossed with clear embossing powder. The snowman was colored with copics. I used a white Viva Pearl Pen for the mounds of snow.
