Just pretty

This card was designed for a challenge to use your favorite college teams colors. OK, I don't have a favorite college team. So, I used the colors of the individual who posted the challenge. I have no idea of what school this represents. The doily was made with a Tim Holtz die using printed tissue paper. The flowers are a Penny Black die.

Mojo Monday 444

This is my take on the Mojo Monday sketch this week. I used one of the Tim Holtz Mini Crazy bird stamps. I think I am addicted to them.

Courage

The theme for my mixed media canvas challenge this month was courage/bold. I love playing with the crazy birds, so this time I decided to use the minis. The leaf stencil is from Magenta.

Happy 60th birthday!

The final coloring challenge at The Outlawz was this past week. I have been having a great time making these cards with the crazy birds. My hairdresser will be turning 60 in February, so I had to make him a great card!

Crazy Bird Birthday

The Paper Ala Mode challenge at The Outlawz this past week was "Anything Goes".  I decided to play with a technique that a friend had shared. The background is made on a cereal box in which paint was lightly applied with your fingers. You then stamped onto the first layer. Finally, paper from sewing patterns and music were added. I went one step further and stenciled the alphabet on using texture paste. The birds, of course, are from Tim Holtz. I love these crazy birds!

The Tuesday Color Challenge at The Outlawz was a Tic-Tac-Toe board. I chose the row of yellow, yellow green and green with the addition of a ribbon.

The background on this card is a napkin. I used Tim Holtz butterflies to embellish it.

Happy Bird-Day

The Monday Greetings challenge at The Outlawz was to use embossing. I used the embossing for my greeting, since you need to have a greeting on this card. The bird is from Tim Holtz and is on a wobble.

A little birdie....

The Monday Greeting challenge at The Outlawz was to use twine. This is one of the new birds from Tim Holtz and he just looked so distressed, that I decided to wrap him up in twine. He has one googly eye and one big eye.
