Something new

The Paper Ala Mode challenge at The Outlawz this past week was to use something new. Both the Penny Black sticker and the Nuvo Jewel drops are new.

Coffee please

The Saturday Paper Ala Mode challenge at The Outlawz was to make an ATC. I just finished making Coffee ATCs for a swap in another group. The stamps are all from Stampendous. I embossed the coffee beans onto paper and then applied gelatos and wiped them with a baby wipe. The lace acts as a table to ground my cup.

Lace Skirt

The Saturday Paper Ala Mode Challenge at The Outlawz this past week was "Anything Goes." This is a canvas using a Julie Nutting Paper doll. I did her skirt with rows of lace trim.

Heart

The Saturday Paper Ala Mode challenge last Saturday was to add a heart. I used this stamp from Unity Stamp Company. I like the monochromatic look with just a touch of color. I also entered it into the Dies R Us challenge. The challenge there was black and white with an option of an accent color.

Happy Valentine's Day

The Saturday Paper A La Mode challenge at The Outlawz this week was to make a Valentine's card. I had this vintage valentine fabric that I am planning on making valentines from. No better time to start than with a challenge! I used peel off stickers to frame the focal point. My card design is a easel card.

Crazy Bird Birthday

The Paper Ala Mode challenge at The Outlawz this past week was "Anything Goes".  I decided to play with a technique that a friend had shared. The background is made on a cereal box in which paint was lightly applied with your fingers. You then stamped onto the first layer. Finally, paper from sewing patterns and music were added. I went one step further and stenciled the alphabet on using texture paste. The birds, of course, are from Tim Holtz. I love these crazy birds!

Hedgie Christmas

The Saturday Paper A La Mode challenge at The Outlawz this past week was to make a Christmas card. I used a Penny Black image for my card. I used Sparkle-n-Fluff on their hats. The stars and scissors have glossy accents on them.

Minion Birthday

The Saturday Paper Ala Mode challenge at The Outlawz was to make a birthday card. I had minions left after making gift tags, so I decided birthday cards were in order.

Birdhouses
